Here is a selection of projects that I have been leading or involved with.
Rationale We developed an analytical tool to forecast the relative abundance of mosquito species in urban areas. I was the lead developer and first author in the first version of this project.
A simple webpage to visualize respiratory diseases data from the NHSN
An educational tool for simulating an epidemic outbreak scenario for students to practice their skills as an outbreak response team.
We developed a multiscale agent-based model that combines within-host viral dynamics and between-hosts transmission dynamics. The viral dynamics model is fed with longitudinal viral load data of patients infected by the target pathogen, and it drives the infectiousness and disease progression in the transmission model.
Since 2022, I have been working as the lead programmer for the CEPH Lab team in multiple forecasting initiatives for respiratory diseases in the USA, aimed at operational and research purposes.
